Experience: While still studying, Priti started her career as an apprentice in her family company - Inter Gold ( India's largest exporter for the last 20 years). After a year on the floor, actually making jewellery, she moved on to set up and head the Quality Control Department and then went on to become the company's Sales and Marketing Manager.
Returning from jewellery school saw her venture the Rosy Blue Group into their first foray into the retail industry with the opening of their flagship store in Mumbai under the brand name Inter Gold (renamed since Orra). Inter Gold set new precedents of sorts with M.R.P prices, modern décor and open ambience, celebrity launches, concept based jewellery like their spiritual line etc. it was the only store in India with only diamond jewellery and run by women. Within two years the next store was established in Goa and from then on there was no looking back. In 2001 she became the Vice Chairperson of the retail chain which was 23 stores strong and rapidly growing. In the industry Inter Gold was a success story.
Currently she is an active part of the Hammer Group Board and a major stakeholder in the business and brings with her nearly 20 years of valuable experience in the jewellery business.
